Our mats are handmade in a small town on New Zealand's South Island.
The unique stones are formed & polished naturally as they travel from high up in the Southern Alps down the many rivers to the Tasman Sea where they are tumbled by ocean currents for hundreds of miles, until they are deposited onto a narrow stretch of beach.
The stones are washed & sorted, then attached to a top-quality marine carpet backing which creates our durable, flexible mats for indoor or outdoor use.
Each mat is a unique, beautiful collection of stones to be enjoyed for years and years - your own little piece of New Zealand's magical coast!
Caring for your mat
To clean, use a mild detergent and warm water. Let dry in the sun.
